Application Engineer II

Job Description

Position Summary :

The Renew Application Engineering position is responsible for technical support for orders and responding to customer technical questions for Regal Rexnord's Industrial Services business. Internally, they will be supporting functions such as manufacturing, supply chain and quality. Additionally, they will participate in productivity and simplification projects for our operations and engineering teams.

The Application Engineer works within a team of engineers to accept assignments, consult with manufacturing, and produce solutions for repairs and rebuilds of gear drives, including reverse engineering and failure analysis. The Application Engineer II may act as a team lead by helping to train engineering personnel and assigning / directing the work of engineers and designers.

Major Responsibilities :

• Interacts with the sales team and customer to translates customer specifications into product selections that meet customer and Regal Rexnord business needs.
