Diesel Mechanic (2nd Shift 4pm-4am) - Dallas, Texas

Waste Connections | $22-$30 / hr |$2,500 Stay on bonus| Full-Time + OT + Benefits

Join Waste Connections as a Diesel Mechanic and keep our fleet running strong! We're hiring experienced techs to perform maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks-covering everything from hydraulics and electrical to engine systems. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and values safety .

What We Offer :

  • $22.00-$30.00 / hour based on experience Plus $2,500 Stay on Bonus
  • $150 / month tool allowance + annual boot stipend
  • Full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, Life Insurance)
  • Consistent hours : 50-60 hrs / week, Mon-Fri + some Saturdays
  • Year-round stability + safety -first culture

What You'll Do :

  • Perform preventative maintenance & inspections
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues
  • Handle on-road breakdowns and emergency calls
  • Keep shop clean, organized, and safe
  • Accurately document all work performed

    • Requirements :

  • 3+ years of diesel or heavy truck experience
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • ASE cert and CDL (A or B) a strong plus
  • Reliable, hard-working, and safety -minded
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
