About Us :

Urban Infraconstruction is seeking an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our heavy civil construction team. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment and vehicles, ensuring maximum uptime and safe, efficient operations on our projects across the DFW area.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Inspect and service components such as transmissions, drivetrains, fuel systems, braking systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and perform timely, effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with operators, project managers, and other mechanics at Urban Infraconstruction to prioritize and complete work efficiently.
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organized condition.
