We're looking for a passionate & articulate Charity Engagement Associate – Entry Level in Gretna. This essential role in our Charity campaigns will directly involve you in engaging the public, educating them on critical causes, & inspiring them to become active financial supporters.
As a Charity Engagement Associate – Entry Level, you will immerse yourself in comprehensive training, learning advanced techniques for direct donor engagement & ethical fundraising. You'll develop expertise in persuasive communication, understanding the nuanced impact of various charitable initiatives, & accurately processing contributions.
Key Responsibilities of the Charity Engagement Associate – Entry Level
Talk to people at local community spots, events, and retail locations in Gretna to share information about our non-profit partners and encourage donations.
Share stories and simple examples to help explain the goals and impact of the charities we support.
Let people know about one-time and monthly donation options and help them sign up if they’re interested.
Follow clear guidelines to make sure all fundraising is honest, respectful, and within company policies.
Answer questions and handle concerns from potential donors in a friendly and helpful way.
Use a tablet to process donations safely and accurately, keeping all donor information private and secure.
Work toward daily and weekly goals for raising funds and stay motivated to meet or beat them.
Keep clear and accurate notes on donor conversations and donations in the system we use.
Represent Silver Lining Marketing and our non-profit partners in a positive, professional way.
Join team meetings, practice sessions, and trainings to keep improving your communication and fundraising skills.
