We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor-Indian food chef to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all food preparation and sales operations and ensuring an excellent dining / take-away experience. Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen operations - Indian / Indo-Chinese / snacks / bakery / Panwaari / sweets, checkout, ordering and receiving ingredients and raw materials, a relevant and broad menu, and other kitchen operationsCreate and maintain sales and expense budgetLead team in providing exceptional customer serviceMaximize sales through high-quality serviceMinimize wastageMotivate the kitchen and bakery team by coaching them and inspiring them to delight customersCreate menus while taking into account budget, customer demands, and seasonalityHire, train, and lead staff for exceptional customer serviceEstablish goals and KPIsAdhere to all health and safety rules and regulationsProvide sales and productivity reports to managementPractice all local, state, and federal government labor, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards and lawsQualifications
High school diploma / GED preferredResident / citizen / Work Authorization in the USExperience with Indian Food Cooking is a must.Extensive previous culinary experienceCertification from culinary school is preferredCalifornia Food Handler Card is preferred or to be obtained within 30 days of joiningFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS softwareAdvanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes, knowledge of Indian cuisine is preferredExcellent management and leadership skillsJ-18808-Ljbffr
