Job Description

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in New York, New York from October 15–17. This is a great opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring / Summer 2026. Interviews will be conducted at our New York office on Thursday and Friday.

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to be based in Buffalo, Latham, or New York . This position is expected to begin in Spring / Summer 2026.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

• Provides specialized technical input to studies and designs for staff's specific areas of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
