Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Projects - NoVA will :

  • Assist in managing daily project operations from preconstruction through close-out
  • Support coordination between field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and design consultants
  • Track and manage RFI logs, submittals, and change orders
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost reports
  • Help ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations
  • Participate in meetings and site visits to maintain progress and quality control
  • Assist in procurement and contract management
  • Support documentation and reporting for project milestones

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Projects - NoVA will have :

  • 1-3+ years of construction experience, preferably with multifamily residential projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project)
  • Understanding of wood-frame construction and building systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
