Finance Intern

The Lennox Finance team plays a critical role in analyzing, forecasting, and reporting financial KPIs. As the Finance Intern, you would provide financial reporting and analysis of the organization's financial goals and initiatives. You will develop analytical, spreadsheet, and system skills at our Richardson, TX location.

Gain exposure to top-line financial planning & analysis activities by assisting in forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and scenario planning

Partner and collaborate with business functions to provide financial support and provide insights that support optimal business decision making

Learn basic financial technical skills such as financial modeling, Excel, data gathering, handling big data, and data visualization

Assist the financial period close process

Assist in ad-hoc analysis, other financial research projects and analyses of operational results

Successful interns will have the potential opportunity of joining Lennox Full-Time upon graduation. Relocation and / or travel may be required for your position.

What do you need to succeed?

Required qualifications :

Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Strong written and verbal communication

Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel

Ability to effectively analyze large data sets to make decisions

What will give you an edge?

Interest or desire to lead project teams

Experience with financial modeling

Well organized & detail oriented

Ability to work independent as well as part of a team

Background and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence

Passion for producing high quality work

Requires current enrollment in an accredited college or university program. Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Compensation : This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $19.80 $22 / hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
