job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to established protocols. Support law enforcement personnel as required by site-specific guidelines and protocols. Maintain awareness of surroundings while on patrol and communicate any concerns to Allied Universal management and / or site representatives. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Possess at least one year of security-related experience. Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by the client. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
