Customer Service Representative
Position
The Customer Account Specialist is responsible for managing the full order lifecycle?from entry through delivery?while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments to meet client needs and delivery commitments.
Key
Accurately enter, process, and manage orders, returns, and credits within the internal ERP system.
Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely updates on order status, shipping, and delivery schedules.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal sales and operations teams.
Monitor and manage sales order backlogs to ensure shipment deadlines are met.
Release orders to appropriate warehouse locations for fulfillment.
Handle payment processing for customer orders, including credit card and ACH transactions.
Resolve order discrepancies and customer issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain a courteous, customer-focused approach in all communications.
Minimum of 2 years of customer service or account management experience.
Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in handling high-volume phone and email communication.
Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
