Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technician with strong sustainment and technical data experience to support mission-critical systems within an Air Force sustainment environment. This is an on-site role focused on identifying and resolving parts obsolescence issues to keep systems mission-ready. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in Air Force depot-level operations, technical documentation, and proactive problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, analyze, and resolve obsolescence issues across multiple platforms before they affect sustainment operations.
Interpret and prepare recommended changes to technical data (e.g., AFTO Forms 22 / 252 or commercial equivalents).
Leverage predictive tools to proactively and reactively address parts obsolescence.
Access and analyze engineering drawings using systems such as JEDMICS or similar repositories.
Research and provide detailed technical data to support replacement recommendations using solutions such as existing stock, reclamation, alternate sources, aftermarket, F3I substitutions, emulation, and redesigns.
