Employee Development Specialist – Assembly / Modifications

Berkley, MO

Contract Position

$40-45 / Hour

Join our Production System Training (PST) Midwest (MW) team and play a key role in delivering technical learning solutions that support the fabrication, assembly, and delivery of aircraft and aerospace products. As an Employee Development Specialist, you'll partner with Production Operations and Quality teams to develop and deliver high-impact training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform as an instructor, facilitator, or technical performance coach in one or more of the following areas :

Aircraft Structures

  • Aircraft Mechanical
  • Aircraft Modifications
  • Aircraft Inspection
  • Aircraft Drawings
  • Aircraft Process Specifications
  • Military Technical Data
  • Electronic Work Instructions
  • Conduct learning sessions using a variety of delivery methods, techniques, and platforms
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide learning consultation services
  • Provide technical assistance in both classroom and on-the-job training environments
  • Support resolution of complex or unusual problems in a production training context
  • Facilitate work teams, lead training sessions, and support process improvement initiatives
  • Expand and enhance expertise to maintain flexibility across the collective Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Interpret applicable regulations and standards to ensure training aligns with commercial, government, regulatory, and organizational requirements
  • Emphasize safety protocols during instruction
  • Support Functional Development efforts by serving as a SME when needed
  • Edit existing training solutions or create temporary learning solutions for urgent or unique business needs

    • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft structures production, maintenance, and / or training on military aircraft
  • Hands-on experience with aircraft structural and mechanical work
  • Proven experience training or mentoring in a technical environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical data

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Fighter Jet Structures procedures , including :

    • Precision drilling

  • Fastener installation / removal
  • Bonding and grounding
  • Torquing
  • Safetying devices
  • Experience transferring knowledge through formal or informal training methods
