Responsibilities Work in a hospital float pool covering various pediatric units Care for pediatric patients with a range of health concerns from simple to complex 12-hour day shifts with 3 shifts per week Weekends and holidays are required as part of the schedule No floating outside of the float pool is specified Provide nursing care to an assigned group of pediatric patients and document interventions Assist physicians with exams and minor procedures and administer medications including IVs and blood products Interact with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures Delegation of appropriate tasks to support staff is expected 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not eligible Staff may only extend once for a total of up to 26 weeks before a 6-month separation is required Holiday coverage is required as scheduled Requirements Active RN license in Oklahoma or a compact state (eNLC) Minimum of 1 year of recent pediatric RN experience Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association Good verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills necessary Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621258.
