About the Role :

A well-established insurance defense litigation firm is seeking a dedicated and energetic Litigation Legal Assistant to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting attorneys in personal injury and catastrophic injury matters.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage case intake and opening procedures
• Maintain attorney calendars and ensure all deadlines are met
• Prepare, file, and serve legal documents in California Superior, Federal, and Appellate courts
• Draft and revise pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
• Coordinate expert designations and depositions
• Track trial-triggered deadlines and assist with trial preparation
• Prepare and organize trial documents, including motions in limine and exhibit binders
• Communicate professionally with clients and insurance carriers via phone and email
