• Schedule : Part Time Days; Weekend Option (WEO) : Hours : 12 hour day shift on Saturdays and Sundays\nPosition takes weekend patients and transplant call\nQualifies for Weekend Option pay differential\n

• Location : Indianapolis, IN\n\nCoordinates pre-transplant and pre-VAD process for advanced heart failure therapies candidates. Collaborte and communicate with multidisiplinary team members, including physicials, program administration, RN coordinators, social workers and financial counselors. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.\nResponsibilities\n\nCoordinate nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department.\n
• Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develop and document care plans and therapy programs.\n
• Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and / or equipment is obtained as ordered.\n
• May supervise and direct nursing staff.\n
• Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.\nRequirements\n\nLicensure / Certification / Registration : \n
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.\n
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n\nEducation : \n
• Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.\nAdditional Preferences\n
• Current RN license; Two years of clinical experience in cardiology, advanced heart failure, or critical care; Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions.\n
