Location : Mulberry, FL 33860 (On-site, Full-time)

Schedule : DuPont 12-hour rotating shift or 9 / 80 schedule (based on department)

Position Summary :

We are seeking experienced, hands-on Maintenance & Electrical Supervisors to lead front-line mechanical and electrical teams at our high-performing chemical manufacturing facility in Mulberry, FL. This role is ideal for emerging leaders with strong technical skills and the ability to guide diverse teams in a fast-paced, safety-focused industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Operations & Production Oversight

• Supervise daily production and maintenance activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Oversee product quality, raw material flow, and rail logistics.
• Lead and participate in shift communications and ensure resource allocation aligns with operational goals.

Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance

Supervise and coordinate mechanical and electrical teams in executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs (PM, PDM, RCFA).

Oversee planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks in collaboration with reliability and engineering teams.

Ensure compliance with asset health standards and maintenance best practices.

Approve work permits and enforce Lockout / Tagout and other safety protocols.

Leadership & Team Development

Manage, schedule, and develop a team of 4-6 hourly employees (maintenance mechanics, engineers, and electricians).

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Provide coaching, feedback, and support employee growth and development initiatives.

Safety, Compliance & Project Support

Conduct routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on capital improvement and maintenance projects.

Support troubleshooting of operational or mechanical issues to reduce downtime and improve reliability.

Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor's Degree required - Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).

Candidates with a Business degree may be considered if all other qualifications are met.

Experience :

2-5 years of relevant experience in a maintenance or technical role in an industrial, manufacturing, or chemical plant environment.

Prior leadership experience preferred (can include informal leadership such as shift supervisor roles at companies like Publix, Walmart, etc.).

Technical Skills :

Strong background in mechanical and / or electrical systems and maintenance practices.

Familiarity with reliability programs such as PM, PDM, RCFA.

Experience with systems like Maximo, Pi, OIS, and Kronos is a plus.

Soft Skills :

Demonstrated leadership potential and strong communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

High attention to detail and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
