job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDecember 2nd 9th (7-day stretch) Provider is expected to be on call 24 / 7 for the duration of these shifts Call Details : 20-minute call response time required Rounding : Expected to round on patients during shifts EMR System : Cerner, with preferred knowledge of ProVation Support : Advanced practice provider (APP) support available in the clinic Patient Load : 3-15 patients per shift (variable) Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy Foreign body removal Fulguration of bleeder (cautery or laser) Injection of varices ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision Liver biopsy Esophageal manometry interpretation Small bowel biopsy Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) License : Must be licensed in Montana or eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Certifications : ACLS and BLS required; PALS preferred if providing pediatric care Fellowship : Gastroenterology fellowship required Hospital Privileges : Required, but temporary privileges are not available Trauma Level : Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center Lodging Recommendations : Local hotels available near the facility Orientation : 6-hour orientation on the first day of the assignment Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated at 90 days
