As a Construction Laborer, you'll play a vital role in a wide range of construction and paving projects. What You'll Do

  • Champion a safe work environment by rigorously following all safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Follow all companies, OSHA, and MSHA regulations for safe and compliant job execution.
  • Support the construction and paving crews with hands-on tasks such as shoveling, raking, operating a wheelbarrow, and directing trucks.
  • Communicate with equipment operators to ensure seamless movement and alignment of materials.
  • Execute daily tasks as directed by your Foreman, adapting quickly to the ever-changing demands of the project.
  • Operate small power tools (e.g., jackhammers) as needed.
  • Dig, spread, and level construction materials for optimal project results.
  • Move and handle materials, tools, and supplies with care and efficiency.
  • Install, relocate, and remove traffic control devices such as signs, barricades, and cones.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

    • What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction is a plus but not requiredyour attitude and work ethic matter most.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Commitment to following all safety requirements, procedures, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
  • Flexibility to travel, work nights, weekends, and outside of your local area when the job requires it.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools is helpful; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform manual tasks in all weather and working conditions.

  • Experience a variety of job sites, both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to all types of weather and conditions.
  • Dynamic, fast-paced settings where teamwork and attention to safety are paramount.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and mechanical equipment provided and required.
  • Noise levels can vary from moderate to loud, making every day unique.
