Manager in Training (MIT) Role

FLIK Hospitality Group is a recognized hospitality organization with over 400 locations in 35 states, and nearly 9,000 associates. We partner with clients to provide a state-of-the-art hospitality and culinary experience across corporate dining, independent schools, hotels & conference centers, professional sports teams, senior living, and airport lounge spaces.

ABOUT THE MANAGER IN TRAINING ROLE :

As a Manager in Training (MIT), you will receive targeted training for an entry-level management role. You will learn and apply FLIK's best practices in areas such as marketing, customer service, retail, merchandising, purchasing, supply chain, hiring, training, payroll, and profit and loss. Training includes hands-on experience at a designated location and participation in Compass Group's Accelerated Manager Program (AMP). Successful AMP completion may require relocation within your region. Full-time management placement or promotion upon AMP completion depends on performance and business needs. As an AMP graduate, you may be prepared for the following roles :

• Cafe Manager
• Catering Chef
• Catering Manager
• Chef Manager
• Conference Coordinator
• Executive Dining Chef
• Meeting & Event Planner
• Sous Chef

Accelerated Manager Program (AMP)

AMP is a combination of assessment, training, and coaching to develop future leaders. It provides a fast-track learning opportunity focusing on management development with a personalized approach. The program can be completed in 12 weeks or more, depending on learning needs, pace, and sector goals.
