Job Description

Cooper Auto Group is seeking talented individuals seeking a career in Human Resources. This position will assist in all aspects of Human Resources to include employee relations, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement.

Facilitate the comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Address and resolve employee inquiries with utmost professionalism, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager when necessary.

Manage the coordination of benefits enrollment between providers and employees across various retail dealerships, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Execute 401K reconciliation processes with precision and attention to detail.

Process required termination information for appropriate follow-up actions, including unemployment claims and COBRA offers.

Collaborate with the HR Manager on special projects as required, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Min High School degree required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations.

HR (PHR, SHRM) related certification(s) preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
