Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Chemist II to join our team. The candidate will perform a range of laboratory testing and support functions to ensure the quality and integrity of our products. The role requires expertise in both wet chemistry and instrumental analysis, contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing including TLC, FT-IR, and composition testing with proficiency in following USP monographs and general chapters.
• Perform wet chemistry testing such as loss on drying, pH, titrations, and solution preparations.
• Support daily laboratory operations including glassware cleaning, solvent waste disposal, and daily / weekly balance calibrations.
• Assist upper-level Quality Control Chemists as needed.
• Perform strength testing using HPLC, GC, and / or ICP.
• Contribute to process and continuous improvement efforts.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Lab Supervisor / Management.
• Willingly work holidays and weekends as requested.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $31.25 / hr.
