Overview
The Data Center Technician supports the daily operations of data center environments. Responsibilities include monitoring systems, performing hardware installations and maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor systems and equipment for performance issues or failures.
- Respond to error messages and system alerts by identifying and resolving problems.
- Assist in testing and debugging software and hardware components.
- Operate software tools to manage data, generate reports, and support business operations.
- Set up, maintain, and decommission hardware (e.g., servers, racks, cables) following standard procedures.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and replace faulty components.
- Follow safety and operational protocols for hardware staging, cabling, and labeling.
- Escalate incidents and report issues to other technicians or team leads as needed.

Pay range : $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
