School Social Worker Mason, MI Pay : From $46-$53 / hr, based off experience

Blazer Jobs is hiring a dedicated School Social Worker for a full-time position in Mason, Michigan. Located just south of Lansing, Mason offers a warm, close-knit community with a strong emphasis on academic success and student well-being. The social worker will serve as a vital link between students, families, and educators, fostering a supportive school climate and ensuring access to essential services.

Requirements :

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

Current Michigan School Social Worker License (S310 endorsement) through the Michigan Department of Education.

Background check and fingerprint clearance.

Prior experience in school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities :

Conduct social-emotional assessments and provide counseling for students.

Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and administrators.

Support IEP and 504 planning processes with relevant documentation and data.

Coordinate referrals to community-based mental health and social services.

Facilitate crisis intervention and family support initiatives.
