Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district is seeking a licensed Substitute Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-call coverage for school-day nursing needs. This role offers flexibility and the chance to positively impact student wellness during the academic year.

Key Qualifications :

NYS RN license in good standing

Current CPR certification

Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred

Ability to manage health-related concerns independently

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities Include :

Providing direct nursing care to students during school hours

Handling health emergencies with appropriate medical interventions

Administering medications and treatments per care plans

Documenting care provided in compliance with district policies

Assisting with screenings and immunization record review

Assignments are available throughout the school year based on district needs.
