Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable
Or 1 year of experience in accounts payable with a Bachelors in accounting, finance, or other related field of study
Knowledge in 3-way matching
Experience processing 200+ invoices weekly
Experience with ERP software
Description :
The AP Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include :
Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments.
Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist with month-end closing and accruals.
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Assist with flux analysis and other reporting as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00 / hr.
