Social Services Director Opportunity at Betz Nursing Home
The Social Services Director plays a key role in delivering medically related social services to attain or maintain the highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Responsibilities
- Lead social services to support residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Assist with discharge planning, crisis intervention, and case management as part of resident care.
- Foster a compassionate, collaborative, and compliant care environment in alignment with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social work or in a human services field required.Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.Previous social services experience preferred.Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
