We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join our expanding Norfolk / Tidewater region. This position will oversee multiple commercial renovation and tenant-improvement projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance while leading on-site construction activities.

The ideal candidate has a strong working knowledge of all major trades, excellent field coordination skills, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and subcontractor performance on multiple active job sites.
• Coordinate all trades, inspections, materials, and equipment to maintain quality and schedule.
• Conduct daily safety and progress meetings; enforce all OSHA and company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, architects, and inspectors.
• Track and report project progress, manpower, and material delivery status.
• Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and local building codes.
• Review plans, RFIs, and submittals to confirm field alignment and prevent delays.
• Manage punch lists, closeout activities, and turnover documentation.
