Database Engineer

Description :

Skiltrek is looking for a Data Solutions Backend Software Engineer for one of our large customers in Chicago. This is a full time role and mostly remote.

Skills :

SQL, azure data factory, DBT, ETL, Software development

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions in Azure using the following tech : Azure SQL, C#, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, and GraphQL. Expertise in Data Factory, Batch Services, Service Buses, Event Grid, Function Apps, APIM, GraphQL, App Insights, Key Vault, performance tuning / optimization.

Qualifications :

o Languages : T-SQL (CRUD operations)

o APIs : C# REST APIs (bonus : Azure Function Apps, GraphQL)

o ETL : SSIS or Azure Data Factory

o Architectural Patterns : Data Warehousing, Microservices Architecture, Event-based Architecture

o Source control : Git code management

o DBT Cloud

o Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Batch Service, Azure API Management

o App Insights (Logging / Alerts)
