Are you a problem solver with a knack for mechanical and electrical systems? We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This permanent role is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical skills and leadership abilities in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art production environment. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance, and ensuring the highest standards of maintenance are met.

Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase productivity.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly to avoid production delays.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Coordinate with production and quality control departments to prioritize maintenance tasks.

Manage maintenance budget and ensure the cost-effective use of resources.

Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Coordinate with external contractors and service providers as needed.

Regularly inspect equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and plan corrective actions.

Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, preferred

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a food manufacturing environment.

Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using maintenance management software.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Certification in maintenance management or a related field would be an advantage.
