Process Engineer

OVERVIEW : The Process Engineer will collaborate with teams to improve manufacturing process efficiency and effectiveness. The position requires a strong desire to work hands-on with pilot plant operators to solve issues and improve operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Scale-up new processes and products from the lab, then pilot and finally to commercialization.

Hands-on work with plant equipment, chemicals, and machinery.

Provide manufacturing support and troubleshooting.

Perform lab experiments as needed, including data analysis.

Manage and execute capital projects

Apply statistical methods and Six Sigma tools to analyze problems, optimize operations, identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

Prepare PFD’s, P&ID’s, heat and material balances, etc.

Lead preparation of equipment lists, specification sheets and other process input to projects.

Willing to learn new chemistries and technologies
