Central Procurement Specialist Intern
This is a hybrid position working 3 days a week in office, primarily located at our Nuclear Headquarters in Jackson MS.
Job Summary / Purpose
The Central Procurement Specialist (Nuclear) Intern will be a temporarily employed full-time college student at an accredited four-year institution of higher learning, who is in a work-study program designed to provide practical work experience in their field of study. This position is ideal for someone majoring in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
The Central Procurement Specialist (Nuclear) Intern is responsible for procuring materials and goods to meet the demands of the business, utilizing advanced supply chain and purchasing knowledge and experience. The role operates with a degree of autonomy but may require minimal supervision or assistance in areas where the intern's knowledge or experience is still developing. The intern will execute progressively more complex and variable scopes of work, understanding the distinctions between catalog and non-catalog spending, and utilizing Entergy's purchasing processes, systems, and tools.

Minimum education required of the position :
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning and must have or be working towards a B.S. Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Enterperneurship, International Business, Business Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical), or a related field.
