This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule from the Jackson, Mississippi.

Essential Functions :

• Summer paid internship working in one of EMC's branch underwriting departments
• Assists underwriters in obtaining information needed to properly evaluate new business and renewal submissions, including correspondence with agents and other outside sources
• Learns EMC culture, business processes, and products
• Gains an understanding of the insurance underwriting process
