Geotechnical Engineer (Fayetteville)

GTS, Inc. is seeking a staff geotechnical engineer for our main office in Fayetteville, Arkansas.The candidate will generally be responsible for project management, reviewing reports prepared in-house, performing field site visits during construction, project coordination and client development.This position requires independent decision-making skills, and proactive team collaboration for complex projects.

Responsibilities :

Proposal preparation, business development, and maintain positive client relationships to secure geotechnical engineering and Construction Materials testing services,

Coordinate field activities and supervisory duties of field staff,

Prepare Site Visit Reports to include engineering recommendations,

Review of Geotechnical and Materials Testing Engineering deliverables,

Provide mentoring to less experienced staff or technical support to personnel on projects,

Performing field observations during project construction,

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field

Minimum 3-5 years experience

Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) registration in Arkansas, or ability to obtain within 6 months
