Duration : 12 Months Contract

Payrate : $ 72-78 per hour on W2

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer - Red Hat Linux to join our team in Alpharetta. This role involves building, decommissioning, and patching servers, implementing security controls, supporting application owners with troubleshooting, and managing enterprise Linux server - RHEL environments. The position requires flexibility for off-hours work, including scheduled patching updates on select weekends.

Responsibilities :

• Build, decommission, patch, and secure Linux servers (RHEL).
• Implement security controls as directed by security teams.
• Provide operational support, troubleshoot with application owners, and generate system reports.
• Research and implement new solutions as needed.
• Participate in server patching updates (two Saturdays per month).

Required Skills :

Preferred : Prior experience in banking or financial services environments.
