Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Social Circle, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $16.40 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Monday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wednesday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Thursday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies as directed by site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
