Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Lithonia, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will support operations while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, where you will utilize your skills to support a caring, agile, and reliable team that values people first and always acts with integrity. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
  • Assist with access control processes and visitor management as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or vendors to provide information and assistance as needed within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including evacuations or medical incidents, as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
