Dispatch Manager must be responsible for assisting quality and efficient customer service through daily monitoring of a team by providing guidance and technical support to MMT Ambulance communication center. An incumbent in this classification works with considerable independence and receives general guidance from a superior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversight of Communication Center activities and associated policies and procedures.
• Responsible for managing the scheduling, training, retention, and performance of personnel of the Communication Center.
• Ensure compliance with customer service and dispatch quality assurance principles.
• Ensure that all Communication Center personnel is adequately trained and obtain / maintain all required credentials.
• Demonstrate the ability to work productively with all involved stakeholders of the organization to include the public, agencies, elected officials, and area hospitals.
• Attends assigned official public meetings to represent Communication Center.
