J ob Summary

The Legal Aide Stateside provides entry-level support to attorneys and paralegals in a U.S.-based immigration law practice. This role focuses on administrative assistance, document handling, client intake, and general case support. The Legal Aide is a key member of the legal team, ensuring that cases are organized and that attorneys and paralegals have the support they need to operate efficiently.

E ssential Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in assembling and organizing case files and supporting documentation.
• Input and update client information in case management systems (e.g., Docketwise, LawLogix, INSZoom).
• Scan, file, and maintain physical and electronic documents.
• Support attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants with routine administrative tasks.
• Help clients complete intake forms and gather necessary information for case preparation.
• Track deadlines and case progress for attorney and paralegal review.
• Draft basic correspondence and client communication under supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the legal team.
