About The Role
The Senior Auditor, Data Analytics is responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive Data Analytics Strategy within the Internal Audit Department. This role plays a critical part in enhancing audit effectiveness through the use of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques and Tools (CAATTs), and supports audit teams in data-driven decision-making and reporting.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement dashboards and templates for management and Audit Committee reporting.
- Extract, analyze, and present data for timely and accurate reporting.
- Build strong relationships with audit teams to promote the use of CAATTs.
- Develop and manage a network of Data Champions across audit teams to foster analytics adoption.
- Assist audit teams with data extraction and sampling for audit testing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure system access for audits and follow-ups.
- Support timely completion of management and committee reports.
- Uphold the highest professional standards in all assigned duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Experience : Minimum of 5 years in internal audit, banking operations, or data analytics.Proven expertise : in management reporting, data extraction, and analytics tools like SQL and Tableau.Education : Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Applications, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certifications : in Data Science or Business Analytics preferred.Required Skills : Advanced computer proficiency; strong command of Tableau, SQL, Cognos Business Analytics, and other reporting tools; skilled in data extraction and manipulation using SQL or similar tools; excellent presentation and communication abilities; strong organizational and analytical capabilities; ability to work independently and meet deadlines; familiarity with internal audit standards and methodologies; high integrity and professionalism; effective time management.Working Environment And Physical Demands
Based in a professional office setting in Greenville, South Carolina.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.Occasional travel up to 5%.Conditions Of Employment
