What Will You Do?

Diagnosis and repair of underground pressurized pvc lines. Same as Polly line and sprinkler repair, digging must be included.

Performing a variety of tasks and assigned work duties involving strenuous manual labor in outdoor projects and worksites

Maintaining a clean job site; picking up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards

Loading and unloading trucks and hauling and material handling and storage

Carrying out opening and closing duties

Performing required light maintenance of equipment

Maintaining personal health and sanitation standards

Reading and interpreting safety / employment manuals and other work-related documents

Complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and orderly facility

Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; bringing problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Director or HR Manager

Performing other work-related duties as assigned

What You Bring :

The individual should have clear knowledge of diagnosis and repair of underground pressurized pvc lines. Same as Polly line and sprinkler repair, digging must be included.

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state drivers license prior to employment

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work

Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy / highway construction work

Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions

Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule

Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions

Ability to communicate orally and in writing

Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely

Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions

Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

Employees in this role must be able to :

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Frequently sit for extended periods; occasionally stand, walk, reach, handle objects, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Frequently lift and / or move up to 60 lbs, with occasional heavier lifting as needed. If a task requires lifting beyond the recommended weight limit, employees will receive appropriate assistance, equipment, or team lifting support in compliance with Cal / OSHA safety regulations.

This position may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and other workplace risks. The company provides all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with OSHA regulations. Noise levels are generally moderate but may require hearing protection in certain situations.

Salary Range :

$31.25 - $36.00 / hour
