Location : Fontana, California 92335 (Inland Empire)

Position : Locum Tenens Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Setting : Outpatient OB / GYN Clinic

Employment Type : Contract / Locum Tenens

Start Date : August 1, 2025

End Date : October 25, 2025 (13-week contract, extension possible)

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Shifts per Week : 5 (8-hour shifts)

Patient Volume : 20-24 patients per day

Call : No call required

Support Staff : Full RN and LVN team, with supervising physician on site

EMR : Health Connect (EPIC-based electronic medical record)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $4,310 - $4,620

Qualifications – OB / GYN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Active California PA or NP license required

Board Certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

DEA license

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in OB / GYN (strong obstetrics experience required)

Proficient in performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds (dating pregnancies to 8 weeks preferred)

Experience with gynecological preventative care and well-woman exams

COVID-19 vaccination preferred

Primary Responsibilities – OB / GYN Advanced Practice Provider

Deliver comprehensive outpatient care for obstetric patients, including prenatal and postpartum visits

Perform and interpret ultrasounds for early pregnancy dating (down to 8 weeks gestation)

Conduct gynecological preventative care, routine GYN exams, and well-woman visits

Manage a daily patient schedule of 20-24 patients in a fast-paced clinic setting

Document all patient encounters and clinical findings in Health Connect (EPIC EMR)

Participate in scheduled video appointments and telehealth visits as needed

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including RNs, LVNs, and supervising physicians
