This team is dedicated to cultivating and executing a strategic approach to retaining existing revenue, generating new business within existing accounts, and acquiring new business in the aviation and travel markets. It is part of an industry-leading sales organization.
About the Job
The Sales Manager will lead and support the commercial growth of the Airlines and Airports business for North America. The Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching and developing a high-performance sales team capable of executing a clear Go-To-Market (GTM) sales strategy aligned with the company’s current and future value propositions for target customer segments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute GTM plans to achieve sustained revenue growth and market trust.
- Support functional peers to ensure focus on value. Share market trends and customer insights with regional and global sales leadership teams.
- Continue the transformation of the Airlines & Airports sales team to foster a high-performing, value-based selling culture. Lead and mentor sales individual contributors, providing coaching and feedback to ensure team and individual goals are met.
- Own talent development by accurately assessing the strengths and development needs of team members over time in terms of skillset, structures, and mindset.
- Engage with industry opinion leaders to foster a growing community within and around the aviation industries.
- Provide customer product feedback and suggest enhancements to sales and product leadership. Highlight risks based on market and competitor intelligence.
- Develop Sales Campaigns that emphasize value as part of the broader GTM plan to drive growth for the Airlines & Airports team.
- Support the company’s vision and values by role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors. Promote a culture of openness, feedback, and collaboration within teams, as well as across globally served customers and supporting client teams.
- Represent the business at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions, as appropriate.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience leading diverse sales teams.Proven track record as a commercial leader with tangible achievements in driving commercial growth, ideally in data, technology, or software solutions businesses.Ability to design and articulate a sales GTM plan to support business growth and strategic account expansion.Strong leadership skills with the ability to hire, manage, coach, and mentor sales professionals to deliver sales growth.Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams and the broader organization.Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions or use cases.Must possess a growth mindset to be coachable and open to personal development and adapting to new approaches.Ability to work a hybrid schedule from the Dallas, TX office location.
