Municipal Project Manager / Construction Manager

Tristar Engineering & Management, Inc. (Tristar) is an Arizona owned and operated professional engineering firm headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona with additional offices in Tucson and Gilbert, Arizona. We are offering a great opportunity to a qualified Project Managers / Construction Manager with proven construction management engineering experience for government and private contracts. Tristar is growing and hiring PM / CMs for municipal projects.

Experience required and responsibilities are listed below.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction capital improvement projects (CIPs) as an Owner's Rep with heavy emphasis on underground utilities and roads; civil infrastructure and public works elements.
• Apply principles, methods, and techniques of civil engineering to the construction of drainage systems, underground utilities (gas, electric, fiber, water and reclaimed water systems, sanitary sewer and storm systems), road and bridge construction, traffic control improvements, asphalt and concrete paving, and signalized intersection improvements.
• Oversee municipal CIP projects that include buildings, parks, libraries, and public facilities.
• Oversee utility projects with emphasis on water, sewer, and gas line installation or rehabilitation.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, contractors, and inspection staff; document field construction activities and monitor scope, schedule, and budget using appropriate project management software.
