Field Service Technician - PC & Printer

This hands-on, customer-facing role involves providing on-site technical support for a variety of PC and printer hardware. The technician will handle break / fix services for laptops, desktops, workstations, and retail point-of-sale systems. Experience with printers is highly valued. The position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys solving problems independently.

• Responsibilities :
• Deliver on-site hardware support including installation, configuration, repairs, and troubleshooting of PC and printer equipment.
• Guide customers through technology usage and maintenance best practices.
• Respond to service requests and collaborate with escalation teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while supporting business goals and budget requirements.
• Understand the business impact of service delivery and make informed decisions accordingly.
• Key Skills & Competencies :
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and alignment equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including those involving third-party software, networking components, and switches.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Independent problem-solving and decision-making within established procedures.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for administrative tasks.
• Business awareness and ability to assess the financial implications of service actions.
• Familiarity with industry technologies and ability to recommend practical solutions.
• Quick assessment of technical situations and adaptability to operational challenges.
• Preferred Experience :
• Prior experience in field service or technical support roles.
• Strong experience in printer maintenance and repair.
• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals.
• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
