Hydraulics Machine (H&M) Technician
The Hydraulics Machine (H&M) Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and reconditioning of hydraulic machines and lifting devices (H&M) shipped to and stored at the North America Distribution Center (DC). This role includes diagnosing mechanical defects, supporting repairs, and ensuring all equipment meets Doka Group standards. The Technician also serves as a subject matter expert on the proper handling and use of H&M equipment.
Key responsibilities include :
- Receive and inspect hydraulic machines and lifting devices from subsidiaries and clients.
- Perform reconditioning and repair work to return equipment to group standards.
- Track and document maintenance hours for proper client billing.
- Diagnose equipment issues and propose effective, actionable repair solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the reconditioning process, issuing relevant checklists and work instructions as needed.
- Manage inventory and ordering of spare parts for H+M equipment.
- Maintain and organize all tools and equipment used in the H+M distribution and reconditioning processes.
- Update and maintain the H+M database with accurate service and repair data.
- Finalize and close reconditioning service orders, detailing materials and labor charges.
- Collaborate with other Distribution Center departments on all matters related to H&M equipment.
Additional responsibilities include :
Support various company initiatives and projects as assigned, including participation in internal committees or teams.Promote and adhere to safe working practices and maintain a safe work environment.Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, procedures, and business practices.Qualifications include :
