Position Title : Instructional Designer

Work Location : North Chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid)

Assignment Duration : 06 Months

Description

  • Design learning solutions that close knowledge and skill gaps and that improve individual and organizational performance. Build training resources in support of process and system changes and skill development workshops.
  • Design and develop eLearning courses, slide decks, participant guides, learning activities, newsletter issues, and other similar learning resources.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to build training materials and update existing eLearning.
  • Lead instructional design projects with stakeholders to completion.
  • Maintain our eLearning library, updating courses as needed in our learning management system. Support the facilitation of live courses.

Education :

  • BA / BS required.

    • Experience :

  • 3-5 years of training / instructional design or related experience.
  • Experience with Articulate 360 or similar learning design software.

    • Top 3 - 5 Skills Needed for each role :

  • Ability to create learning resources efficiently (eLearning modules, guides, slide decks, etc)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Project management skills - ability to track and bring to completion multiple simultaneous projects
  • Knowledge and experience of Articulate 360 or similar eLearning authoring software

    • Key Competencies Required :

  • Knowledge of learning design principles
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent project management capabilitie
  • Strong conceptual abilities, and strong team orientation.
