job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition is in an 18-bed Operating Room of a Level 1 Trauma hospital Handles a wide variety of surgical cases including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries Night shift schedule is 3x12 hours, working from 18 : 30 to 07 : 00 Primary circulating and scrub responsibilities, with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases Uses Epic EMR system Responsibilities include providing nursing care during surgical procedures, circulating, scrubbing, and working closely with the surgical team Preferred experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns cases Must maintain accurate patient records in Epic Ohio fingerprinting process must be completed promptly after contract signing Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees at Ohio State-affiliated hospitals are ineligible All requested time off must be declared at the time of application Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding Active RN license, either compact or Ohio state, required at time of consideration Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program At least 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma center Current BCLS certification required EPIC EMR experience required Extensive scrub experience in major specialty areas Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or formal leader High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
