Grade Level : 4th & 5th Grade
Start Date : October 20, 2025
Schedule : 8 : 15 a.m. – 3 : 15 p.m.
Salary Range : $58,000 – $65,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is excited to partner with a supportive and community-focused elementary school in the south suburbs to welcome a School Social Worker to their team. This is a full-time, onsite, long-term position serving 4th and 5th-grade students in a collaborative and student-centered environment.
This district follows a balanced school-year calendar, offering more frequent breaks throughout the year. During these intersessions, team members can choose to participate in additional compensated work time.
You’ll join a collaborative environment where social workers, school counselors, SLPs, and nurses work together to support students’ social-emotional development. With an existing team of 11 AnthroMed clinicians in the district, you’ll have a strong professional network and consistent support from our clinical leadership team.
What You’ll Do
Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students in grades 4–5
Deliver services to both general education and IEP students
Conduct assessments, develop goals, and participate in IEP meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Implement interventions and promote positive behavior and emotional regulation
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Caseload Details
Caseload : TBD (mix of IEP and general education students)
School size : Approximately 287 students
99% of students are from lower socioeconomic backgrounds (SES)
Dedicated office space provided
Qualifications
Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Work (SW) endorsement required
Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Passion for supporting students’ emotional and social well-being
