As a Room Service Server at The Pfister Hotel, you will deliver menu items directly to guest rooms in a professional, timely, and courteous manner-ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience in the comfort of their room.

What You'll Be Doing
- Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and proper garnishments for accurate plate setup.
- Prepare trays and carts and deliver meals to guest rooms.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and service equipment.
- Retrieve trays and carts from guest floors promptly.
- Record and process guest orders accurately using the Point of Sale system.
- Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations when serving alcohol.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor throughout shift.
- Perform assigned side work and other duties as directed by management.
Position Requirements
Prior food and beverage service experience required; hospitality background preferred.Ability to read and understand menus and dining tickets.Knowledge of menu specifics, plate ware setup, and garnishment.Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through crowded or confined spaces.Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining service excellence.Strong communication and guest service skills.Ability to operate POS systems and follow cash-handling procedures.Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment.What's In It for You
