Accounts Payable Specialist

Northwest Indianapolis

Industry : Distribution

Salary : $50,000 to $55,000 depending on experience

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES :

Accounting :

  • Responsible for preparing, tracking, and communicating invoices
  • Responsible for all AP financial activities
  • Responsible for preparation and tracking of all bill-backs
  • Reconciles bank accounts daily, verifies and communicates deposits

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS :

Required :

  • No degree required
  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience
  • General Understanding of GAAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn
